Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon Review & Swatches

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
When a Charlotte Tilbury parcel lands on my desk on a Monday morning, I can instantly tell that my week is going to be a good 'un.
Recently available from the brand is the Colour Chameleon eye pencils which are made specifically for a certain eye color. So for example Amber Haze was designed specifically for Brown eyes and Bronzed Garnet for Green eyes which were the two shades I was sent. Typically I have blue eyes...

So although I have blue eyes, I read on Google that it still looks pretty nice on other eye colours but just 'compliments' the specified ones which made me a lot happier. I didn't fancy giving them to my friends to try out because quite frankly, I'm a bit selfish that way.
Someone on a Mac counter in New York told me to NEVER use pink or red undertoned eyeshadows because my skin naturally has pink undertones. She was quite adamant that I would look 'tired and ill' otherwise so I tend to avoid them as much as possible. Bronzed Garnet has a good amount of red in it so  was automatically put off it, but Amber haze is a definite orange toned bronze.

In terms of pigmentation, they pretty much fit the bill for the perfect amount of pigment. They are shimmery and reflect the light really nicely but can be a little bit stubborn to blend out if you don't work quickly. Bonus for staying power though!
I put it to the test and Six or Seven hours in and the product was still going strong on my eyelids without a crease in sight.
I'm a huge fan of these but the only thing I dislike is the fact you have to sharpen them. For the LOVE OF GOD please make more products twist up! I just hate using a sharpener.
Have you tried out the Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon shadows?
