Galvin at Windows has created the Lilibet cocktail to celebrate the Queens 90th birthday
The cocktail uses all of her favorite flavours; Gin is her spirit of choice, Dubunnet is what she drinks as an aperitif before lunch, Earl Grey is her favorite tea and dill and the orange mandarin bitters have been used as they compliment all these flavours and give the drink balance.
The presentation of the cocktail was inspired by the Queen herself, purple because it is the color she wore on her last visit to Galvin at Windows. Gold to represent the year she was born, the 1920s was known as the golden age and the name Lilibet because it is her nickname.
Here are the ingredients
Lilibet
- 50ml – Beefeater 24 Gin
- 12.5ml – Dubunnet
- 12.5ml – Dill and earl gray tea syrup
- 2 drops of orange mandarin bitters
