Celebrate Christmas Greek Style with OPSO

Acclaimed Marylebone-based contemporary Greek restaurant OPSO is treating its guests to a truly different taste experience this season as it launches a Christmas menu with an indigenous twist. And, needless to say, there is not a Brussels sprout in sight!

Available from December 1st, diners can enjoy a unique set menu that combines a modern interpretation of traditional Greek festive favourites with the finest quality ingredients.

Delight in culinary creations such as Venison Tartar, served with a soft boiled quail’s egg and festive beetroot ribbon, and the melt-in-the-mouth Inside Out Xmas Stuffing, slow cooked chicken drumsticks with rice, pine nuts and raisins.

To finish, a range of delectable desserts include the decadent Bitter Chocolate Madness served with clementine zest ‘spoon sweet’ and coffee ice cream, alongside traditional Greek favorite Melomakarona, an irresistible sweet olive oil cookie, with thyme honey and walnuts.

OPSO’s three course Christmas set menu is priced at just £40 per person.

Designed to attract even more compliments of the season meanwhile is a limited edition menu of Christmas-inspired cocktails created by OPSO’s award-winning mixologist Giannis Petris.

In place of the staid Buck’s Fizz are six scintillating new creations that include the naughty (but nice) Milk Punch, a Christmassy combo of Metaxa, homemade cinnamon syrup and milk, and Spiced Wine, made with homemade cinnamon syrup and Greek red wine and served warm to keep Jack Frost at bay.

Completing all the ingredients for a perfect Yuletide offering, OPSO’s roomy downstairs space ‘The Larder’ is tailor-made for all manner of private and corporate Christmas events, whether it’s a team lunch, client treat or office party. A selection of bespoke packages are available, with early bird incentives available for local businesses.

For enquiries, bookings and reservations, call 0207 487 5088 or email [email protected]. Full details can be found on the OPSO website.
