CBC Music Festival Announces 2019 Lineup

The CBC Music Festival has announced its first wave of 2019 artists for the 1-day fest at Echo Beach this May, and things are looking good.

Talent from north of the border will be on full display in Toronto when the 17 artists announced today (with more to be added) hit the main stage, q stage, and Juno 365 stage on the shores of Lake Ontario. Headlined by Alvvays, the all-Canadian list of artists has emerging acts and established favourites that will undoubtedly have music fans in a good mood on May 25th.

CBC Music Festival is a family-friendly affair, offering free admission for children under 12 who are accompanied by an adult (max two children per adult). And with General Admission passes priced at an affordable $39.50 plus fees, this is as good a deal as it gets in Toronto for a full day of entertainment.

Along with the three stages we mentioned, Echo Beach will be home to the CBC Kids Zone, a food truck fair, and opportunities to explore more of the site as well.

And, for anyone that can't get to Toronto for the day-long music festival, the CBC live stream will be available again this year. The stream will be available at cbcmusic.ca and on their Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels. It's a great touch and something that is both pretty unique and pretty cool.

There are going to be some special and can't miss moments at the 2019 CBC Music Festival. We know that Stars will be playing their critically acclaimed 2004 album, Set Yourself On Fire. We know that Buffy Sainte-Marie is a legend and will wow us. And we know that Hubert Lenoir is most definitely don't miss. Trust us on that.

Expect more names to be added, maybe some surprises on the day of, and a lot of smiles and happiness when it comes to show day on Saturday, May 25.

Visit Ticketmaster (Click Here) to get tickets when they go on sale to the general public, Friday morning (April 12) at 10 am.
