You’ve heard the phrase “it’s raining cats and dogs.” This quirky, clichéd remark originated in seventeenth-century England. During heavy rainstorms stray animals would drown and could be seen floating down the streets making it look as though it had been “raining cats and dogs.” Disturbing! #CatFact #DogFactHome Magazine
