Carom Soho Launches Rooftop Pop up at Madison London

By Djridings @fivethingsnow

Pan-Indian restaurant and Soho institution, Carom , is triumphantly returning to the London dining scene after a fire on Wardour Street temporarily closed the venue.

The restaurant is partnering with Madison London  to host a sky high pop-up on the 6th floor rooftop of One New Change in St Paul’s.

Executive Chef Vishnu Natarajan’s residency at the City based bar and restaurant will run until the end of June and will provide diners with a taste of India in the heart of the City. Guests will be able to enjoy Carom’s signature dishes whilst enjoying panoramic views of East London and the iconic cathedral.

The menu includes a selection of light bites and larger plates, including King Scallop Roasted in Shell with Pepper & Chilli, Chicken Winglet Lollipops with a Goan Dip and Carom’s Signature Chicken Biryani.

For a delicious sharing experience, Natarajan has also created a mouth-watering pan-Indian Sharing Skewer platter. Priced at £25 for two people, the dish includes succulent tiger prawns cooked in-shell and served with a selection of dips and Carom’s delicious poppadums.

Madison’s stunning rooftop terrace has a relaxed daytime feel and switches to a lively evening venue with live music and DJs Tuesday to Saturday. With City views and enviable cocktail and champagne lists, Madison is a memorable space in the heart of London.

About Vishnu Natarajan

Whilst at Carom, Vishnu has created an authentic pan-Indian menu, centred on a thoughtful and inspired use of spices. He brings a contemporary edge to the popular shared dining concept, serving elegant and refined dishes boasting authentic flavours. Eschewing heavy dishes, the focus at Carom is on healthy, light dining. He has recently updated the classic Carom menu, adding a selection of new plates focused on sharing while socialising.
