It all started with friends. We were all sitting together and wondering what we could do with a big bag of apples. We sliced them up and made this dip. I thought of using just a caramel sauce, but that can get complicated.
Who needs complicated?
This recipe is very easy to follow and I will just bet you have most, if not all of the ingredients in your pantry right now.
Make sure you do not do what I did. I tried to mix by hand and while the cream cheese was cold. It was like a brick. So allow the cream cheese to soften up if you decide to mix this up by hand.
Caramel Apple Dip
Ingredients:
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons milk
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor. Serve with sliced granny smith apples.
