Camping Party

By Vixenmade @vixenMade
How was everyone's weekend?
Ours was great.  The weather was beautiful and we celebrated my husband's 29th birthday.  Yep.  29.  You know what comes next.  Anyways, he's always been big into camping and the outdoors, so when I suggested it, he was all for it.

He decided on some favorites for the dessert table such as apple filled bush pies, vanilla cupcakes, gummy candy, beef jerky, and pudding dirt cups.  And I had fun with the rustic and outdoorsy feel of the party.

I designed the invitation with the finishes that reminded us both of camping, the plaid, burlap, twine and of course, pine trees!

We added in a few fun elements of camping like the wood signage, the camping blanket table covering, and the wood log tiers.

Of course, you can't have a camping experience without some s'mores!  Considering our winter was slow to leave this year and we still have a little snow on our yards, we figured an indoor s'more buffet would work better than using our outdoor fire pit.

And I made some homemade trail mix for everyone to take home.

Hope you all have a great week!!
