Caltrans to Discuss Networking Opportunities with Small Businesses on Mar. 27

STOCKTON – The California Department of Transportation and the Stockton Regional Public Agency Consortium are hosting an event March 27 focused on connecting local small businesses with local agencies needing goods and services.

At the interactive panel discussion, businesses will learn about the proper procedures for doing business with public agencies. The agencies involved say it will be an opportunity for small businesses to network with and have their questions answered by procurement and contracting specialists.

Featured panelists include representatives from the city of Stockton; San Joaquin County; Caltrans; Department of General Services; San Joaquin Delta College; San Joaquin Superior Court and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The panel discussion will be moderated by the NEC Small Business Development Center San Joaquin Delta College.

It’s scheduled for Thursday, March 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the San Joaquin County Robert J. Cabral Agricultural Center, 2101 E. Earhart Ave., in Stockton (near Stockton Metropolitan Airport.)
