By Harini
Cake popsBefore I get into today's post,I would like to thank all my dear readers and face book followers for making this happen, yeah my followers in FB is now 1000+ and it will be least if I say I am over joyed :). I am really humbled and overwhelmed by this kind of encouragement from you all in this short span.Thank you,you mean a lot to me :). Now coming to this cake pops, this is such a fit for any kind of celebration, fun to eat, tastes awesome and there is no limit for decorating these.Well all these said I kept mine very simple with minimum decoration,as I am a very novice when it comes to decorating and also the day when I was making these I had few other works and was not able to concentrate much.I was not even able to take step wise pics.Still posting it here,as we liked it very much.I used a very basic egg less chocolate cake and whipped cream frosting for this. As we dont get candy melts used for coating the cake pops here in Chennai(at least I do not know if it is available any where) I used milk chocolate and nutella.I have finally used chocolate strands and wafer crumbs to coat.Very easy to make but it does need patience.I was not able to make perfect round and also I feel I have made them bigger, next time I will correct these.Try out and let me know what you think about these :). This is not the authentic way of doing those cute little pops.I am giving here the method I tried,a very simple but absolutely delicious.
