Buccoray's Post Game thoughts-Game One

I'm not going to offer any brilliant insight, you all saw the same thing I did. It doesn't take a genius to see that the Steelers are not a very good football team. They lost 16-9 to a Tennessee Titan team, who I feel is a very below average,in a game that was no where as close as the score indicated. Some talking points.
1-The Steelers have a serious lack of talent. When Ike Redman,a guy who gets the most out of the ability he has,and is a decent 3rd down/short yardage back is your guy, you've got problems.I liked the Bell draft pick, but they put all their eggs in his basket. I though that was a risk to do with a rookie, but now factor in his injury and a lack of plan b...well.
2- Speaking of a lack of plan B, a young and promising, but inexperienced O-Line and absolutely no depth. Look for the Steelers to be scrambling this week to find epth at RB and O-line.
3- Their Wr's are average. When you can't run the ball, you need someone like Wallace to take the top off the coverage. No running game,no deep threat=stacking the line and daring Ben to throw.
4-The coaching staff has no ideas on how to fix this. you could see in the second half the players and coaches were a beaten bunch.
5- It was hard to rate them on D. They did all right considering they were on the field so long, but Tennessee is far from an offensive powerhouse, and they still couldn't force any turnovers.
6-It's only one game,and I don't want to over react,but my 8-8 prediction could be a bit optimistic...maybe 5-11 well see.
