Brow Beauty Omaha Review – Worst Waxing Experience

By Apoorva @perksofbeauty

Hi people, I am always up for product reviews and not a bashing blog post. But it was on Friday ( 1st July ) that I have had a horrible experience of my life that I wanted to open up with my readers. I have had to wax since I was 19 or so. My hands are so used to it that I don't feel a thing except on inner arms where my skin is tad sensitive.

Anyway, coming to the point. I and my friend booked an appointment with brow beauty located in Omaha. We wanted to get our hands waxed.

So, entering the store we asked the lady that we wanted to get it done simultaneously as we didn't have time. She told that they have just one room for waxing and we need to do in the same place together else one need to wait. Being good friends we said ok to share the room. To change my top, the lady gave me a rag! literally a rag. We usually don't use that even to clean the bathroom floor. It had a ton of stains and she just picked it up from the bed which means, it was the same rag used by the previous client. And even after asking for a new one, they just shrugged off saying that they just have ONE! I wonder how are they managing with just one cloth to cover up! To our horrifying reality, I and my friend had to use the same rag with wax here and there one after the other (EWWWW!!!)

To top it off, the lady didn't know how to pull the wax sheet off the skin. I don't know if you can understand this but she pulled the sheet at 90degrees off the skin rather than the usual 45degrees angle. Imagine the pain that I have gone through. I have literally cried at times with pain but she said that because of my hair growth. I wonder where was this pain all these years.

They don't care about what you say or they don't hold your skin tight while pulling the waxing sheet nor they care for holding your skin after the pulling and tugging. Nothing really matters to them but just the money !

On the other hand, my friend was way too lucky. She was a lab rabbit for a trainee who is learning how to wax. Her experience was horrible too.

The whole process of waxing was hell and I don't want to go to that salon anytime ever in life and I would like to suggest my friends not to visit the place at all.

They used the wax that doesn't go off with water and it only dissolves in oil. I saw huge bumps on my hands and they looked like boils which I never really had ever in my life. The whole day my hands were hurt, so hurt that even water was hard to use on my hands. All I see is the burns and not the usual waxed pretty hands.

After two days, I could see that they literally peeled my skin off and that left marks all over my skin!

I would like to show the marks here. So that it helps people understand that the brow beauty salon is just the worst.

I paid 35USD for the service! Total waste of money and time and extra pain.
