Although I’m often drawn to monochromatic and neutral color schemes while flipping through magazines and web surfing, I’ve never been one to shy away from color. True story – one time while I was in college working on my undergraduate degree, my cousin’s then bf (now husband) spotted a girl walking across the quadrangle and he remarked how bright her outfit was. Then he realized that girl was me. He and I both had a good laugh when he shared the story with me later on that evening. So yes, I believe in wearing outfits so bright that you’ll be noticed from across the room – or quad in my case. Moral of the story – go bright or go home.
