What’s not to love about glam hair accessories, specifically those that are true statement pieces? Well, to my total delight (and inner girly girl), I’ve recently spotted a number of “bow tie” hair accessories that exude major chic factor and tons of sophistication. It calls up fond memories of the cult-loved ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’ trend (so true what they say about everything old becoming new again). Whether 20 or 50, any gal can pull off this ultra stunning hair trend. For a younger or edgy vibe, go for extreme colors or prints (think cobalt blue or animal print) and overly large bows. For a more mature look, go with a solid black or simple print and a medium sized bow. As far as the placement of the bow, that’s the funnest (I know that’s not a word but, dang it, it sure should be) part of all as you can wear it directly centered, off to the side, incorporated in a ponytail or braid, or even at the top or bottom of a bun.
