This is my second time reading Nora Roberts. Shadow Spell is the second book in the Cousins O'Dwyer trilogy. I've also borrowed the third book, Blood Magick from the library. I've just finished book one, .
I thought Shadow Spell was great. I enjoyed it even more than Dark Witch. Like Dark Witch, the romance between Connor and Meara wasn't my favourite part but at least it didn't make me want to sick up on myself. I thought their reluctance to act of their feelings because they were trying to find a way to destroy an evil force was well written. I enjoyed all the witchy stuff especially when the cousins are able to visit Sorcha's children in their dreams. Shadow Spell is a bit darker than Dark Witch but thoroughly enjoyable. Nora Roberts knows how to tell a good tale.
I'd highly recommend Shadow Spell. I look forward to reading the conclusion to the trilogy.
