A Feast of Crows is the fourth volume of Martin’s epic A Song of Ice and Fire series. The war has burned itself out and the devious Lannister’s are on power on the Iron Throne. Vengeance is sought for the lives lost in Blood and Gold. More battles are to come.
I’ve wanted to read A Song of Ice & Fire for years. I’ve never seen the TV show Game of Thrones but I aim to buy the DVD’s soon. I don’t read a lot of Fantasy fiction but A Song of Ice & Fire is the king of high fantasy stuff I prefer. I really like Martin’s other work so knew I’d get round to this epic series at some point. I read the first volume, A Game of Thrones for my Popsugar Reading Challenge 2015 and have continued to read the series.
Thanks to A Feast for Crows my love of A Song of Ice and Fire grows. I love the world George R.R. Martin has created and the people who occupy it. There are lots of new characters introduced in this volume in Martin’s fantasy epic. I’m a bit mad that Dany doesn’t make an appearance so I’m looking forward to catching up with her and her army of Unsullied at some point in A Dance With Dragons. The shock ending to A Storm of Swords 2: Blood and Gold isn’t followed up so hopefully Martin will return to this at some point in the next volume. I let out a cheer when Cersei is thrown in jail and Jaime burns her letter begging him to help her. I hope some pain in on the way for her in the next volume.
