A Dance with Dragons 1: Dreams and Dust takes place before and during the events of the last book, A Feast for Crows. I continue to love A Song of Ice and Fire. I will be buying the DVD’s for the TV series this month and can’t wait to see these books on screen. This is the first part of the fifth volume in the series. Martin catches up with all the characters missed out of A Feast for Crows. Thankfully, my favorite character, Dany makes many appears in this book. She was sadly missed in A Feast for Crows. I liked catching up with Jon Snow and Bran. Tyrion continues to be a character I’ve warmed to. Jon Snow is much changed from the boy he was in the first volume, A Game of Thrones. He’s all grown up and kind of intense and a bit scary. I’m looking forward to see where he develops next. My heart goes out to Arya. I’m looking forward to catching up with the rest of the characters in the next volume. I hope someone makes Cersei weep and bleed like a stuck pig.
