It was one of the expensive and high profiled wedding ceremonies in Dubai. Mir Shakeel ur Rehman is one of the richest man of Pakistan and managing some welfare organizations as well.
Top Bollywood celebrities and many politicians attended the marriage including, Shahrukh with his wife Gauri, Hrithik and Sussane Roshan, Arjun and Mehr Jessica Ram pal, Former president of Pakistan Pervaiz Musharraf along with many Pakistani politicians and media celebrities. Marriage ceremony was organized in Dubai at Madinat Jumeirah with the arrangement of 1000+ guests on 30th of December. Approximate cost of the event was AED 3.5 million = 8 crores, 48 lacs, 75 thousand Pakistani rupees. As per sources Shahrukh Khan was paid USD 750,000 for the special appearance.
