The Blue Fin is a seafood place in Times Square chosen by our hosts, which, for a group meal wasn't half-bad.

The appetizer offerings included a mixed green salad, lobster bisque with shrimp & grapefruit and terrific spring rolls of shrimp & lobster with an excellent spicy sauce.

With the mains, folks at the table chose the crab BLT with fries that supposedly had some "Old Bay seasoning" of which, me, an old Baltimore hand, tasted none, a "Cobb" salad with turkey and Colette and I had the excellent halibut with a crisp perfectly salted skin (Collete's needed salt), portabello mushrooms, gnocchi and wilted arugula.

For desserts, we had what were called chocolate Graham Cracker S'mores with cinnamon ice cream, an assortment of sorbets and a strawberry-rhubarb crumble with sweet basil ice cream.

Our bill I cannot disclose because I do not know what it was.

Go?  This is a place one of us at table had been to before the theater and I guess it meets that need but I think I can think of better.
