When the lights fade out, when the streets become empty, just after midnight, she comes out and roams, with a glistening dagger in hand and a pair of blood-thirsty eyes.

Hi guys, again writing after a long time. Today, I’ll be decoding this makeup look that I created for Halloween 2016 and it is my version of Bloody Mary, one of the spookiest urban legends. This may look a bit tough but it’s quite easy actually.

You can recreate it by following the steps below:
Step 1- Prep your skin: You need to prepare your skin for all the torture that you are going to do on your face on October 31st. I first cleansed and toned my skin. Then I applied tons of moisturizer. After that I applied primer on my face.
Step 2-The base: For the base first I applied a cc cream and then picked the lightest foundation shade from my vanity which is Maybelline Dream Satin Foundation in shade 02 which is itself the lightest shade in the whole dream satin range. I applied a good layer of It and buffed it in nicely. Then I picked up my Nyx Highlight and Contour palette and used the shade soft light which is a pink toned setting powder to set my base in place.

Step 3- The Eyes:
First I applied concealer on my eyes and set it with a nice translucent powder. Then I applied black eyeshadow all over my lids. I used the MUA Romantic Efflorescence Palette for this. I also dragged the black eyeshadow to my lower lashline. I used a red blush from my Nyc Cutie Hearts and Cheeks palette which is one of my first palette on my crease to give it a bruised effect and also applied it below the black shadow I used on my lower lash line. I then picked up a purple shadow from the MUA palette and applied it on the middle of my lids and blended it well. I used a black kohl liner and tight lined my eyes. Then I used the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in White and applied it on my waterline. Then I curled my lashes and used the C.A.L Detail me Mascara and Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara. I wanted to go with falsies but could not find the lash glue so I stuck with a heavy layer of mascara. You can go with falsies if you want. I also used the C.A.L mascara with very light hands to set my eyebrows.

Step 4- The Face:
I used the darkest contour shade Hollow from my Nyx Highlight & Contour palette placed it on my cheekbones. I wanted a sharp look so did not blend it well. I also did the same with my nose. I used the blushes from my Nyc Lip and Cheeks palette on my cheeks. I also used the white highlighter Ice Queen from my Nyx Highlight and contour Palette on the usual highlighting points with soft hands.

Step5- The Lips: I outlined my lips with black kohl since I don’t have any black lippies and then filled it in with the same black kohl. I then used the Colorbar Velvette matte lipstick in Shy Cherry and the Nyx Matte Lipstick in Eden. I kind of dragged it to the corners and smudged it.

Step 6- Special Effects:
So, you can see the blood dripping from my eyes right? I used the Oriflame Giordani Gold Nailpolish in Royal Red and drew those drippples from my eyes and on the corners of my lips. Then I just let open my hair fixed it with some serum and shine spray.
