💭 Expert Tips

  • If you don't have a milk frother or immersion blender you can pour the heated milk mixture and espresso shot into a blender and blend to create a frothy delicious latte. Or, if you have an espresso machine with a milk steamer, you can use that as well. Just add milk to the steamer's pitcher, put it under the steam wand and turn it on. Make sure hold the pitcher at an angle so that the foam doesn't all collect at the top, and once it's nice and foamy, you're done!
  • Use fresh ground coffee beans for this lotus Biscoff latte recipe, and use a dark roast coffee for more coffee flavor.
  • For best results, do not boil the milk and Biscoff spread while heating it, and make sure to continually stir the Biscoff milk to prevent burning.
  • If you don't have an espresso machine you can use instant coffee powder, just make it a little stronger than normal.

📖 Variations

There are so many different ways to change up this coffee drink! Here are a few of our favorites:

  • Biscoff Iced Latte: Making this an iced homemade Biscoff latte is simple! Instead of heating or frothing the milk, you'll mix the hot espresso and lotus Biscoff cookie butter until well combined, add ice cubes to cool down the mixture, and then add your milk.
  • Extra Toppings: You can top your Biscoff cookie butter latte with other toppings like whipped cream, shredded coconut, a drizzle of caramel sauce, maple syrup, peanut butter, or chocolate sauce, a sprinkle of cinnamon, nutmeg or cardamom, or even a few mini chocolate chips. You can also add 1 tsp brown sugar or coconut sugar for extra sweetness.
  • Make It For Kids: You can make cookie butter milk for a sweet treat for kids by simply omitting the coffee from this recipe! Follow the first two steps (through frothing the Biscoff milk mixture), and then just pour it into a mug for kids to enjoy.
