Some days you just want pizza (if you are me, that would be most days) so we had to check out Big Woods Pizza in Nashville, Indiana.
We stepped inside and were greeted with live music!

This Indiana town pizza shop is another venture owned by the folks who brought you Big Woods Brewing Company. Since that particular establishment is for folks 21 years of age and older, they wanted to make something more accessible–and what better way to reach more people than with pizza?
Of course, there’s Indiana beer on the menu. It is made on site, don’t'cha know!
There’s a whole lot more, too! Artisan pizza, with build your own options or taste-bud tempting options like classic Margherita or The Big Woods: sausage, roasted garlic, Asiago cheese and mozzarella over marinara sauce.

Hubs and I decided to let the kids pick out their own pizza. We wanted to try something other than their usual pepperoni or sausage pizza!
So, while the kiddos went with Kimosabe (which is just fun to say): Italian sausage, pepperoni, and mozzarella over a flavorful marinara. Hubs and I opted for Emily’s Garden.
Olive oil, mushrooms, tomatoes, red onions, spinach, black olives, feta, and mozzarella round out this delicious pizza. I tried a slice of the boy’s pizza as well and…it’s all good!
Side? Well, when there’s hand-rolled breadsticks on the menu, there’s really no resisting it.

Big Woods Pizza Company boasts live music, fresh food, and their Indiana beer. That’s three very good reasons to head out to this Brown County hangout!
Definitely go there and check it out. I think you will love it! Time it right and you may get a chance to listen to a bit of free entertainment too. This is little Indiana.
