Beware, International Spam Botnet Infects Android Devices

A Microsoft engineer on Tuesday identified the international botnet spam account that can access Yahoo! Mail on Android devices. Terry Zink wrote on the Microsoft blog that he found many spam emails that included signature,'' Sent from Yahoo! Mail for Android''. Zink then trace the IP address from email and towards the developing countries, like Chile, Indonesia, Lebanon, Oman, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Ukraine and Venezuela.

'' I'm betting that users of Android phones to download some applications that are harmful to avoid paying for the official version and they got more than they want,'' said Zink.
