Sunday’s night breaking news that the Football Association has identified West Bromwich Albion as their first choice candidate to be the next England manager shocked most football fans who had expected bookmakers’ firm favorite Harry Redknapp to be offered the job. The shock announcement surprised even seasoned football commentators who took to micro-blogging website Twitter to voice their reaction to the move for 64-year-old Hodgson.
