Best of the Blog: 2012’s Top 10 (continued)

By Everywhereonce @BWandering

Earlier this week we started counting down our ten most popular posts of the prior year. Today we finish with the year’s best five.

5) Go Big or Go Home. A Grand Canyon Rafting Adventure

Grand Canyon, River View

It was a trip so big the story took two blog posts to tell. We’re not at all surprised that our favorite trip of all time also became one of our best blog posts ever.

4) ATM: Hell’s Tale of an Empire’s Fall

A cave tour in Belize leads us through an ancient hell still populated by its victims.

3) Learning to Fly with Skydive Moab

Not only was our skydiving adventure one of our most popular posts, but also includes our most popular video – one we have to admit we can’t get enough of ourselves.

2) Travel Reward Card Smackdown

We evaluate a bunch of travel reward cards to see which one offers the best perks and conclude the best card for travelers isn’t a mileage card at all.

It seems we weren’t alone in thinking that the money spent on typical American weddings could be put to better use. Our six suggestions ended up being a surprise hit for EverywhereOnce.

2012 was quite a year, but we have every reason to believe 2013 will be even better. Thanks to all of you for following us on our journey. We look forward to picking up where we left off in the new year.
