My love affair with cream eyeshadows continues as I've now got my hands on a Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner. It's no secret that I love a good Benefit product and this pot of cream is no exception! Cream eyeshadows are the perfect product for those of us who can get a bit lazy with eye makeup as it literally takes a few seconds to apply and can be worn on its own as a wash of color or as a base for the rest of your powder eyeshadow. After loving my MAC Paint Pot & Maybelline Color Tattoos, it's time to move on and give this beauty from Benefit a permanent spot in my everyday makeup bag.
Like the other cream shadows I've tried, the Creaseless Cream comes in a glass jar which I like as it adds a nice bit of luxury to the product. You get 4.5g of product which is a little less than what you get from MAC and Maybelline (5g in both) but what I love about this product is just how creamy it is. As much as I love the other 2, the soft formula of the Creaseless Cream is leaps and bounds ahead in my opinion. It's so easy to pick up just enough of the cream on your finger and is even easier to swipe across the eyelid evenly. I've always been a neutrals girl when it comes to eye products which means these gorgeous hints of gold, brown and taupe are right up my street. This shade gives you the perfect way to wear a bit of shimmer on your eyes while still looking very natural and the ease of application makes it a staple product for me in the mornings. I agree with the name 'creaseless' as I've found that this cream shadow doesn't crease on me after a long day of wear so that's definitely something to be happy about!
Benefit gets another massive thumbs up from me as I've fallen in love with the brand all over again. While the range of Creaseless Creams aren't exactly purse friendly at £14 a pop, I'd rate them much higher than the MAC Paint Pots which come in at £14.50 and the Maybelline Color Tattoos which are more affordable at £4.99. The soft and creamy formula had me sold right away and I can safely say that Birthday Suit has been on my eyes every day since!
