I had always been a bookworm from childhood and never took care of the way I looked and always reach out for only kajal and lip balms, but during the final year of graduation - I was preparing for a skit and had to do makeup to hide pigmentation off my skin and that was the time passion for makeup emerged inside me. I started surfing different blogs and finally settled on IMBB (http://makeupandbeauty.com/) - a very famous Indian Makeup and Beauty Blog by love duo Sanjeev and Rati. My quench for makeup grew more and eventually I started buying stuffs like foundation, compact, concealer, lipsticks, mascaras, etc. After about 6 months, I thought of starting with my own blog - getbeautilicious.com, and finally started working on the blog. But fate has something else stored for me and my blog was deleted but malicious reasons and I was heartbroken. After graduating, I got a job through campus and was on training for 2 years but makeup has become my passion till now - as I was very good in painting and art - I wanted to create looks out of celebrities and apply various colors on myself for each one to get aware of the shades they should choose, which lead me to acquire my passion as a full time beauty blogger.

I told about my passion of becoming a beauty blogger to my parents and they were very disturbed with my decision, as working in a reputed pharmaceuticals company and suddenly leaving it for a stupendous passion was worthless for them. But I had made up my mind and assured them that blogging is fun and we can earn as well in terms of PR samples. After all working for 10-12 hours for someone else like a machine and earning peanuts was not my cup of tea, rather working the way I want and earning peanuts was much better. I made them understand my issue and passion and guess what they agreed but with a time limit of a year - Earn reasonably or leave this blogging s*it from your mind. I agreed and trust me I didn't had any support from my parents for a complete year else then my pocket money of Rs 3000. Rs 3000 isn't enough for a makeup freak, what say? But I had to make my both ends meet and bought few products and started reviewing them on my new blog - www.plumsandbeauty.com. Time flew by and about a year I started earning more than my pocket money and my parents asked me to take my passion for makeup forward. My all time inspiration has always been Rati from http://makeupandbeauty.com/, Mehak from http://peachesandblush.com/ and Cynthia from http://indianvanitycase.com/. I do watch YouTube videos for makeup looks inspiration and I love each second of this.

My parents gave me the chance to be the best in the blogging world with my hard work and honesty.
