Beauty & Hair Review: GlowwBox December '14 Edition
Wow, I can't believe this is the last time I'll be reviewing GlowwBox in 2014, it's been such an amazing year trying, discovering and loving new hair and brilliant beauty products though the beauty box. December's edition did not dissapoint, filled with treats and treatments galore. My favourites (yes more than one) of the box were the Motions Natural Textures Moisturising Cleanser, the Motions Natural Textures Smoothing Conditioner and of course the Lord & Berry Absolute Intensity Lipstick in Raspberry. The arrival of my GlowwBox perfectly coincided with my latest wash day and it was surprisingly a delight.
The cleanser had a lovely light scent to it and was easy and smooth to apply with great lathering action. Although I did find it difficult to comb through my hair while it was applied (this is usually the case with my shampoos), it did leave my hair feeling clean and stripped of grease.
The sign for me of a phenomenal conditioner is my immediate ability to easily comb through my hair as soon as it is applied and I was not dissapointed with the Motions Natural Textures Smoothing Conditioner. It too had a great scent and texture. It spread easily through my hair meaning I didn't have to use the whole tub in one application and it left my hair feeling so soft and smooth.
The Lord & Berry Absolute Intensity Lipstick in Raspberry was surprisingly brighter than it appears when applied and given my already ample lips, I decided to tone it down by layering it with the Lord and Berry Lipstick 'Brick Lip' shade from the October Glowwbox (here) to mute it. I love its creamy texture and lasting effects which didn't dry out even after a few hours of wear.

The Mehron Black Mascara is a great select with an extremely soft brush. The texture is not as thick or dry as other mascaras and for that reason I think it's more suited for use on a natural day. It doesn't cling well on top of eye liner layers and false lashes but its great when you're just feeling for a simple day of lipgloss and mascara.
The BellaPierre Mineral Eye Shadow in Celebration was a welcomed addition to my Glowwbox. Perfect for the festive season, it's a beautiful gold tone that sparkles effortlessly. For the images, I applied it on my lids with my fingers for a slight shimmer and subtle glow and I like the fact that it works for casual days as well as glamorous occasions.
Although I'm still looking forward to trying the Inlight Super Food Face Mask, I don't exactly share the same enthusiasm for the Inlight Face Glove. Even though it feels amazingly soft and is made of organic cotton, I haven't used a face towel/glove in over 10 years due to my fear of bacteria building and slight ocd but I won't bore you with that.

The December GlowwBox is full of great treats and products to get you 'glowwing' for the festive period and with my personal score of 6/7, I'm more than happy to say it's worth being the last beauty box for 2014. Enjoy! TL. Xx
