Beauty & Beyond Top 10 Beauty Buys of 2014

Hello, as we wind up an exciting year, and gear up ourselves to share more news and information in the coming year, we wanted to compile what were our best buys for 2014.

1.Best Cleanser: I have used so many face washes and cleanser this year. Some of them were very good, some were just okay and some are just great. The one cleanser that rose above my expectation is the Omved Moisturising Face Cleanser. It is non-drying, hydrating and cleanses the skin with tender care.

2.Best Moisturizer: I have used a few moisturizers during the year. And undoubtedly my favorite is Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer. I can very rightly term it as my  best beauty discovery of  the year 2014.

3.Best Lip Care: While most of the lip balms are tinted, here is one that is clear and instead of giving a sticky greasy layer on the lips, actually deeply nourishes the lips. And I am talking about the Ethicare Lipz Lip Moisturizer which has been my favorite.

4.Best Soap: This is perhaps the most difficult product to decide as I have used the maximum numbers of soaps this yer. Most of them have been simply wonderful, but since I have to choose one, I will look for availability and affordability too. I choose the Khadi Vanilla & Aloevera Soap.

5.Best Brightener: I am being honest as I have not used a lot of whitening or brightening creams this year, but amongst those I have used, the Garnier Fair Miracle 2-in-1 Fairness Cream was the one to get a complete 5/5 rating.

6.Best Face Mask: I have used a handful of these and while most of the masks had been quite effective, one just faired beyond my expectation and it is the Lass Naturals Facial Therapy Glow Pack. It improves the complexion, works on pores, makes the skin glowing and smooth.

7.Best Lipstick: Again being a lipstick lover, I have used a lot of lipsticks this year too,and the shades mostly revolved round pinks, till I met this beautiful red-Chambor Extreme Matte Long Wear Lip Color in Fiery Red. This shade is a must have for all red lovers.

8.Best Eyeliner: I have not used a lot of new eye liners, but out of the few I have used I choose the Oriflame The One Liner Stylo as the best. Pointed tips, perfect intensity and long lasting wear-all the plus points of a liner.

9.Best Complexion Cream:Lot of CC Creams was tested on the Beauty & Beyond table this year, but the best one has been Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream, which is a truly moisturizing and glow enhancing product.

10.Best Eyeshadow Palette: Year 2014 developed a new liking for me, and that is of the eyeshadows. I have used quite a lot of them and the one that stole my heart is Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette.This palette is a perfect dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette..nothing to say more.
