From the bride: “We met during college 12 years ago. Remco proposed during a wonderfull hike in the mountains of South Afrika. The ceremony took place in Rethymno, Crete on the beach.”

“We wanted an informal wedding, on the beach were everyone would feel comfortable and happy. As I am half Greek and grew up in Greece, it was easy to make the choice for a Greek island”.

“Natasa Mavromati from Stepsis and Manfler Zempili organized the whole decoration for us. We sent them all our ideas on moodboards and they created something beautiful, which fitted our style perfectly. It was wonderful that one day before the wedding we could see the flowers and discuss some last changes”.

Bride’s advice: “Relax! On the wedding day the most important things are exchanging vows with your partner and being there with your friends and family. Things like colours, flowers etc. become almost irrelevant at the big moment. And yes… lots of sun and having an intimate setting made us enjoy it more! Also a wedding planner takes away a lot of stress!”
