I’ve always been on the fence on this book. I loved aspects of it, and hated others. It gained a lot of attention when the death of Robin in this book was felt universe wide and became canon for all DC. It was a shock because it was understood up until that point that Batman, inc wasn’t in the new 52 world. I guess they changes their minds? It still doesn’t totally make sense, but it was a good way to try and link this title to the other ‘bat-books’.

The finale was something I was looking forward to. I’ve always loved Talia. What a great character and story she has. I love her obsession with Bruce. She has been a great ‘big bad’ for this story and I have loved all the evil, horrible things she has done. The finale was so well done. I loved the back and forth cuts between Bruce as Gordon and the final battle between Batman and Talia.

At the end this finale tied up the story, and set up another story. I guess we will have to see how that is handled moving forward, but it definitely hinted at a very interesting storyline moving forward. It will also be interesting to see how the death of Talia is handled, if this too will be a universe wide death or if it will be contained to just Batman, Inc.
