We were recently sent some products from the new Little Explorers range by Cussons Mum & Me to review. Little Explorers is a new range to help children's imaginations, stimulate their senses and encourage development through bathtime play.
The items we were sent were the Super Soft Squidgy Soap and the Funky Fizz Bath Crackles.
Super Soft Squidgy Soap
This is a foam soap that can be shaped and moulded into anything. It has a gentle formulation which is hypoallergenic, dermatologist approved and contains Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E to help leave skin feeling soft and smooth.
We have previously used other soap similar to this so I knew the Little A's would enjoy it. Little Mr A enjoyed playing with it, and cleaning himself and, although a bit wary of the texture and feel at first, Little Miss A also enjoyed getting her hands on it too and squidging it around. RRP for this product is £2.49 which is more than I would usually pay for a bath product, however, it does appear to last a long time and is probably something I would buy every now and again for a bit of bathtime fun.
Funky Fizz Bath CracklesThis is popping candy for the bath! As they hit the water they pop and bang before changing the colour of the water as they dissolve. Again, they are hypoallergenic and dermatologist approved.
At first I was unsure how these would work. I poured them into the bath and they began fizzing and popping straight away, much to the amusement of the Little A's. The popping actually went on for longer than I expected and it did change the colour of the water slightly. RRP for this product is £1 for a 30g packet. Again, it is not something I would buy regularly, however, for an occasional bathtime treat I think it is a great product, different from anything else I have seen. I also think it would make a great little stocking filler!
The other products in the range are a Mega Mild Bubble Bath and a Happy Splashy Hair and Body Wash.
To accompany the new range, a gang of Little Explorer characters have also been created to capture children's imagination at bathtime!
Overall we were impressed with the new range and it certainly made bathtime more fun!
