My favorite time of year is fast approaching: WINTER! with that said, fashion wise, I feel the heat easily and rely on 'layers' a lot. It's hard to layer without looking like the abominable snowman, enter the Bardot.
I'm broad. I don't normally show off both shoulders because it makes me look broader, so I really did think the whole bardot style was off limits for me - that was until I was sent a gorgeous green bardot dress from River Island that I have now worn a tonne of times.
Intrigued, I was definitely happy to try out more of a similar style. Enter Yours Clothing.
I've been shopping with Yours Clothing for at least five years. They sell the longest maxi dresses - which may sound weird - but I loathe ankle skimming maxi's, so I always go to Yours Clothing when I'm buying a Maxi Dress.
Maxi's aside, I was very fortunate to be sent this gorgeous flared bardot top with lace detailing. I teamed this with jeans and depending on the occasion, I would wear it with heels and a little choker for the evening or boots or flats during the day.
The top is fitted at the top of it, before it flares down towards the bottom. The length is just below the bum (perfect for wearing with leggings girls!) and because of the lace detailing I didn't find it crept up as the day wore on.
Ontop of that, I didn't find this a 'sweaty' material. It definitely was breathable and I didn't feel restricted at any stage.
I reckon I would wear this as much in winter as I would right now. It's an easy to layer piece and I definitely feel well put together when I wear it.
