Barcelona to Madrid

La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona

I found Barcelona was a great place to visit.  When I arrived at Sants station, I bought a 2 day metro card for €14, with this I had unlimited use of the public transport for 2 calendar days.  The places I visited in Barcelona were, Camp Nou, Sagrada Familia (pictured above), La Rambla, Arc de Triomf, there is also a nice walk out to the World Trade Center.  An excellent burger place is The Good Burger close to metro station Poble-Sec.  There are lots of hotels in Barcelona, meaning they are competitive and good value.

Alsa overnight bus from Barcelona to Madrid

I took the overnight Alsa bus service from Barcelona Nord bus station, close to the Arc de Triomf to Madrid, this service was  €37.  There were phone chargers and free wifi onboard, also free snacks and water.
