I guess by now, late June, we're all thinking about summer holidays, bikinis and Pina Coladas, but the weather clearly has other ideas. With the odd glimpse of sunshine here and there quickly masked by clouds, drizzle and even fog, I'm still not entirely convinced Summer has arrived - despite what my calendar tells me. I thought it was about time I introduced you to my rubber duck yellow jacket* that's been getting some serious wear the last few months.

Say hello to Barbour Seafarer, the SS16 range inspired by the North East coastline and the ever-changing weather we need to be prepared for. Featuring bold yellow, orange, blue and of course my favourite, stripes, bringing together a really wearable collection that will take you through to AW16.

Yellow isn't typically a color I go for, I'm a neutral black/grey/white kinda girl at heart, so when I mentioned I'd been to a shoot with Barbour and worn something yellow, friends and family seemed a little bit surprised. Then they saw the jacket for themselves and so far, everyone's converted. Even my boyfriend (ooh hello, there's something I bet you weren't expecting) likes it - better than the men's versions may I add! Shame my size 10 isn't quite the right fit for him, ey.

As it's pretty lightweight, it's easy to fold up and pop in the car when I'm heading out, layering a hoody underneath for the colder months. Spring/Summer, nah, I'll be wearing this all year round. April showers, October showers and even summer days out when you just never know if there are rain clouds on the way...
