Back to School Inspiration Canvas Art & A Silhouette Promotion

Back to School Motivating Canvas Art With school right around the corner, I have been busy making my oldest a little more of a school space. In the next few weeks I will have her new desk completed, and I wanted to go ahead and give her a little motivating sign to hang up so she will see it every morning! As you probably know, the Silhouette Cameo is one of my all time favorite toys. There are so many things you can create, and it is an easy DIY partner in crime for when I am in the mood to craft! With the Cameo, I have been able to create a lot of fun projects! Today I am going to share with you my newest project and the quick instructions on how I made it. You will need:- Silhouette Cutting Machine
- Fabric
- Weeding tool
- Iron
- Heat Transfer Material
- Canvas and Mod Podge
First, you want to find your message, or create one, in the Silhouette Studio software. Adjust the size to your preference, and then mirror the image. Place your shiny side down, adjust your settings as needed, and then set to cut.
Creating your image to cut Once you have the Heat Transfer material cut, use your weeding tool and take away all of the excess material and discard. You will be left with your project on the transfer material. Apply the sticky side of the transfer material to your choice of fabric, and set as desired. 
Set your project on material as preferred Take a thin cloth and cover the transfer material. Have your iron on medium heat (no stream) and iron over the material for a few minutes until you can pull up your transfer material and your vinyl sticks to your fabric. Grab your Mod Podge, apply to canvas, and then place your fabric piece over it. Let dry, place on another coat of Mod Podge, and then let dry again. Once dry, you are finished and can hang your new piece of art. Imagine all of the possibilities you can do with this?
