It goes a long way. Dress it up, dress it down, mix it with prints, brights, neutrals, you name it and I’m pretty sure a plain tee will fit the bill.  Lately I have been living, and I do mean living in my tees! It partially has something to do with the fact that my fiance’ and I are in the process of moving so my wardrobe is split up between our new house and our old apartment, but my classic tees have served me well during this transition. I mentioned earlier this week how years of fast fashion impulse shopping left my closet in somewhat of a rut, and how I’m now trying to focus on only buying pieces that I love and that I know I’ll get a ton of wear out of, not to mention play well with the rest of my wardrobe, and believe me a few perfect t-shirts fit those requirements!

I mean, if you’re still underestimating that plain tee, or are saying to yourself that you’re just a blouse kind of girl – I was a blouse kind of girl too, until I ended up with a ton of dressy tops and nothing to wear on casual ocassions. Yep, that was me. And just look at how good Miranda Kerr looks in her classic t-shirts, right!? I’m telling ya, you need to own at least one, at least several, and in a few basic colors. Oh, and don’t forget about the quintissential striped tee. You must have one of those as well! My favorite tees always seem to come from Gap. I love them, and they hold up super well no matter how many wears and washes you give them. Bang for your buck, that’s what I’m all about. Anyone have a favorite t-shirt brand that they absolutely love? Do share with the rest of us!
