I'd already given this product a quick mention in my October favourites but wanted to write a bit more about it because it has been such a staple item in my makeup bag for the last few weeks. The B. Precise Long-Wearing Gel Eyeliner was my first venture into the world of gel liner and I'm so glad I made the move because it has been such a lovely product to use.

For £6.99 you get your little pot of gel liner and a fairly thick liner brush, and while I don't highly rate the brush I think it's a great addition for any gel liner beginners out there. For me it's a bit too thick for applying the gel in fine and precise lines but I've been making do with it until I get myself a fine liner brush. I've heard so much about the eye brushes from Crown Brush so I think I'll need to invest in a few at some point.

Now on to the actual product. As a newbie to gel liner, I didn't have any expectations or other products to compare it to, but this gel liner has really impressed me and makes me wonder why it took so long for me to make the move from liquid liner. The B. Precise gel liner is very pigmented and gives a nice thick line to the eyes with very little effort, and this is especially handy in the mornings when makeup has to be rushed. I picked up the gel liner in Black (#100) and I'm so impressed with how great the formula is as a little of it really does go a long way. The formula is so smooth that the liner just glides onto the lash line and B. definitely weren't wrong when they described the gel liner as giving you "budge-proof lines" as the formula stays put all day long. At the end of a working day my liner still looks as good as it did in the morning and I don't need to worry about panda eyes at the end of the day because the formula doesn't smudge at all under my eyes.

All in all I can't fault this affordable gel eyeliner from B. apart from the little niggle I have with the brush which was still a nice thing for them to include. The formula and pigmentation of the liner really did impress me and made the transition from liquid to gel liner so much easier. I'd love to know if you have any recommendations for fine liner brushes as I'm a bit overwhelmed by all of the different kinds out there!
