Following the footsteps of Helico Aerospace Industries’ Airdog, the drone that follow you around, many other startups came along with similar drones with an auto-follow feature. This new startup named Ehang has teamed up with Duke University to invent yet another drone called Ghost Drone that tag along with you everywhere you go.
Equipped with a GroPro camera, a GPS system and a smartphone app, the Ghost Drone is capable of shooting amazing areal footage of you while automatically following you along. You can give commands to the drone to automatically follow you through the signal from your smartphone or take-off, fly and land by simply selecting the waypoints with the smartphone app. And best of all, there’s no RC controllers involved.

The Indiegogo campaign for Ghost Drone has already funded by over 600% but they are still taking pledges. You can order a Ghost Drone for yourself by making a $375 pledge. Check out the video to see the auto following Ghost Drone in action.
