AW14 FABRYAN / CLEAN CUTSImages: Fabryan
On the 16th January, Fabryan showcased their Autumn/Winter '14 collection at Berlin Fashion Week, for a second season. It was evident on the catwalk that this latest collection once again embodies female strength and power; and designer Samantha Jayne's inspiration from the 1950's still remains very much at the heart of her work. This latest collection of tailoring is brought together by structured shapes, clean cuts and definition, played out against a combination of textures including leather, silk chiffon, velvet and silk crepe. The classic monochrome, that is key to Fabryan's previous collections, again denotes elegance and sophistication, however Samantha-Jayne pushes boundaries in her A/W'14 designs, embracing a contrast of burnt orange in the form of peplum to further extenuate the female shape. This collection will be available later on this year.
