I absolutely love the Ultra Color Bold lipstick collection from Avon as I love to have bold lips at times. I tried out both the Ruby and Fuchsia Shock shades. The Ultra Bold lipstick collection has a creamy texture that is not drying and has a slight gloss as well, reminiscent to the mac creemsheen lipstick finish at a more affordable price of $8. The lipsticks last pretty long and wear very well, plus they are also very easy to re-apply.
I found that both the Ruby and Fuchsia shock shades work well with tan and caramel tones like myself, plus light skin tones as well. My 13 year old niece had sneaked away with the lipsticks as she fell in love with them and was trying them on and I caught her red handed, well red lipped to be exact. Rather than chastise her harshly I explained why she was too young to wear it, but let her try on the Fuchsia lipstick as well, before taking them back. She had just wanted to see how the lipsticks looked on her and I didn't want to take that moment away from her. While she is too young to be wearing makeup, I did take a mental note as I noticed how both lipsticks worked very well with her complexion.
