Hello my fellow makeup lovers, Hope you are waiting for Spring as eagerly as I am. Today I am reviewing one of those ‘hidden gems’ kinda product from Avon – their Pro To Go lipsticks. I have not seen many reviews of this lipstick range and I really don’t know why as this would be a great addition to any makeup stash.

Product Description: This lipstick comes in a classy black yet different twist up packaging. I love the AVON logo printed on the side. The price was around INR 450-500 I think, but I don’t remember exactly as I got this one some sale. Since this one doesn’t have any caps to bother with, I find it a good travel item.

What I feel about the product: Frozen Rose is a dusty pinky-peach shade with golden shimmers. The shade applies beautifully and gives a good layer of color in a single swipe. The shimmer is not a harsh shimmer and is very wearable; it actually gives a glossy finish as opposed to a very frosted finish. Since it applies with full intensity on a single swipe, layering it actually doesn’t do much except give a ‘fuller-lip’ effect. It is a very unique shade – the color actually looks very different on me and on my friend who has a very non-pigmented lip. On me, with darker pigmented lips, it comes off as a muted dusty rose shade with a very light frosted finish. It almost passes off as an MLBB shade for me. On my friend’s lips, this looks like a brighter peachy shade with pink tones and the golden shimmer is more visible. So this lipstick is more of a fall shade for me, while for my friend it’s a good summer shade. What I really love about this lipstick is how moisturizing it is, without comprising on wear time. This is not a very long wearing lipstick – wear time is around 3-4 hours; but for the level of moisturizing it provides, I am quitehappy with this. I can easily apply this shade without a lip balm even in the harsh winter here in Toronto. This lipstick does not have any harsh scent or taste and is non-irritant for me. Swatches:

What I like:
1. Moisturizing yet nicely pigmented lipstick 2. A very wearable lightly frosted color 3. Very comfortable on lips
What I don't like:
1. Availability – couldn’t find this in Avon Canada website. I love this shade so much that I am looking for a dupe; please help me by suggesting some. Good Day!
