Me "N" Her~AStrange Feeling

The story of love n separation where destiny dictates the relation

Q. Harsh and Janvi are based on you and your Best friend, yet they are different. Please explain.

Rikky:       The base on which the entire story and the characters Harsh and Janvi are knitted is actually on my friendship but its only a part of plot which is totally real, rest are either full imagination or reality mixed with customization, Moreover Harsh is a better, more smart, loving and caring then Rikky, and that's why he got what he wanted, and my best friend was far better than what Janvi is portrayed at beginning.
So they are same as us and different from us at the same time.
Q. Do you believe that a guy and a girl can be best friends without even falling in love with each other?
Rikky:       See, there is a very thin line between best friendship and love, obviously when it's between opposite sex. You don't know whether its friendship of some different level or love, as it happened in case of Harsh and Janvi, I believe a guy and a girl can be best friends forever, only if they are in the same state of mind and are happy and content with their life, else
a guy can be best friends only for an initial phase, after that they are bound to fall in love with each other, even if both don't fall one will definitely fall, and thus friendship ends, most best friendship between guys and girls end at this note only, sometimes even some mistakes happen during this state of confusion when they both end up being physical and hate each other.

Q. You write a lot of shayaaris. Share with us your favorite one.
Rikky:     Aaah it's the tough ne, I love all my shaayeris because every shaayeri reflects condition of my heart, but I have three, my first praised shaayeri, a shaayeri from the book and one more which I can't disclose now:
"Ye class hai ya mehfil,
Isme mil rahein hain dil se dil,
Kisi ka has raha hai kisi ka ro raha hai dil,
Kisi ke gham ban rahein hai kisi ki khushi,
Ye class hai ya mehfil,
Isme mil rahein hain dil se dil..."
“Zindagi itni pyaari na hoti agar tum na hote,
Zindagi itni pyaari na hoti agar tum na hote ,
Zindagi itni haseen na hoti agar tum na hasaate,
Zindagi lagti na itni aasaan agar tum na hote,
Kisse karun shukriya tumhe ya zindagi ko,
Kyunki naa jaane zindagi ne tumse millaya ya tumne zindagi se?

Q. Harsh talks about different phases of his life. How many of those phases you have gone through and what have you learnt from them.
Rikky:       Aah I guess only the final phase, though each phase before that also are not completely lived by me, few are actually true and few are customised of what actually I have been through, now that if I reveal which phase is which won't be correct on my part towards my readers and potential readers.
But yes I strongly believe in what I penned in Scene 11, and have been through that. And what I learnt well I still have to figure it out.
Q. Your book also has the element of humor. Tell us some of the characteristics of girls that you find funny and amusing.
Rikky:     "Awwwww..." this is the recent funniest thing about girls, and other funny characteristic that I hate but will have to accept love as well is their teasing to their bf, saying lies to make them happy and sad as well, and then trying to arouse them and then turn down by some stupid reason and then saying 'Awww mera baby naraaz ho gaya...'

Q. What was your first reaction when you saw your book in print.

Rikky:     I guess though I am a writer and words are my strength, and i believe "Words can express anything in the world." but I can't express that feeling in words, I just stared at it for a long time even I don't know how much, having your dream work, words scribbled on papers turned onto a beautiful book is the best thing to get.
Q. You are pretty new to the writing industry. Share some of the lessons you have learnt so far.
Rikky:     The only lesson, it's a very tough industry, huge competition as there are lots of new and genuinely awesome talented writers here, to get your book love and rock and roll is a real challenging job. Even there are few fake people here but then again, they really don't matter.
Q. Any plans for an upcoming book?
Rikky:      Yes plan is there, but won't reveal anything about it now, and moreover it's in very premature stage, haven't been able to write recently due to book release and promotions and of course tensed about its performance, but now that it is getting good response, I think I will resume soon.
Q. If by the wildest of coincides, your best friend happens to read this interview, what would you like to tell her?
Rikky:       I wish it comes true and I would just like to tell her: I may have did many mistakes, and I will always be sorry for that, you may hate me now and forever, may have forgotten me, but I will never forget you, no matter any special person comes in my life, I get many fans and readers, but this book, the love of readers for it, and its success all are due to you, and I hope you read it one day and love it, and also I can to talk yo you once again.
Q. What is your message to the readers?
Rikky:     To the readers I will just say, every book is not just a book and a story, it has something to teach, and try to get what it wants to tech or convey you, if you get it, the book becomes a success, just like my each book will have a lesson, this one teaches you to to distinguish between crush, infatuation, friendship and love and not to lose love in name of friendship and vice versa, and also if you believe your love is true, don't be afraid to lose it. Wait for it, your love will definitely return. And even if it doesn't be happy in his/her happiness.
