Chris Colwell is a Sidney based designer who started as as a cabinet maker before starting his own range of furniture and accessories for the home. His favorite woods are walnut and oak combined with leather and characterized by a perfect fusion of form and function. My favorite piece is the bench pictured above: to me it has such an "intimate" atmosphere. Colwell's work ws part of the selection of Share Design Exclusives shopping event last October.
