August Favourites

August is almost up and it's been a bloody good month, I have to say. I just had a fantastic long weekend adventure with Ross, of which I will share more next week. There have also been other trips to visit friends in Edinburgh and one of my most lovliest ladies has been back from Dubai for the month so I've really enjoyed catching up with her. But enough about my antics, here are some super colourful things I came across online this month.

Claptrap Boutique 
I came across the creations of Tamsin Scott and Kat Murray at the ECA degree show earlier this year and fell for the unusual prints and use of reclaimed fabric. The Banana dress in particular caught my eye and I am happy to say it is now mine. That doesn't stop me eyeing up the other products in their wee online shop, especially the rather cheeky All the Boys dress and the Pizza laptop case.

Ice Cream Lamp from FredFlare
Summer may be coming to an end but I'd still love to buy this kitsch ice cream lamp. I think it would really help to brighten up the dark winter nights and remind me that summer time will come round again.

Minieco
This blog is filled with bright craft ideas and free printables so it's really easy to get DIYing at home. I have so many of these fun projects pinned on my Pinterest boards but only recently started following the blog. The photography is beautifully simple and the tutorials are super easy and straight forward. I really must get working on some. Think I'll start with that watermelon bunting to continue my summer through winter theme.
