August Favourites 2012

By Beauty18claudia @Beauty18Claudia
Yes it's that time already. Every month I've said how I can't believe it's monthly favourites already and it isn't any different this month. I can't believe how quick this year is going, it's crazy.
August Favourites 2012
August Favourites 2012 The first item is my new Pull & Bear make-up bag. I got this mid August I think online in the sale. Got it for £3.99 from £14.99! Amazing save and I love it. I've been looking for a decent make-up bag for ages now and this is perfect. It's big enough to fit everything I need in it without being bulky in my hand bag. I also like that it's see-through so I can find things easily without having to dig around. It's also really easy to clean as I only need to use a wipe instead of washing it like you have to for material ones. They had it in blue and although it was nice, I am a pink girl. The plaque on the front is also a nice touch.
August Favourites 2012 I only have one make-up item this month and it's a shocker. If you've followed my blog from the beginning, you might remember that I used to hate this ELF Corrective concealer palette. When I first got it, it was awful. To be honest, it's still not amazing but I love the pinky color. I use this under my eyes before applying my concealer. It really helps conceal my dark circles a bit. The pink counteracts the dark greyness in the dark circles and make's them appear brighter. I randomly tried it one day, and now I use it everyday.
August Favourites 2012 The next two are my absolute favourites this month. I think I had the blue Moroccan conditioner in last months favourites but then I bought this one. Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner is amazing. The ingredients include organic coconut milk and whipped egg white proteins. Sounds weird but it's brilliant. It smells gorgeous and really makes my hair smooth. If you follow me on twitter, you'll know that I did my own dip-dye hair and so after bleaching the ends twice, it's now very dry and this is amazing. It really makes it smooth again. I leave it on for 5 minutes in the shower. The best bit about this product is that it's sulfate free! Even better for your hair!
Brings me onto my next favourite, Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-breakage Serum is just as good. I use the conditioner first (and yesterday I bought the shampoo for the first time) and then while my hair is still wet, I put about 2 pumps of this in my hands and rub it into the ends of my hair. This has the same ingredients as the conditioner but it doesn't say it's sulfate free. This also smells gorgeous and makes my hair so so silky smooth. You can buy this range from Boots.
August Favourites 2012 This month I have a lot of nail products. I bought these Essie colours but I just can't decide on a favorite as I love them all! From left to right; Mademoiselle I really like for days when I just want my nails to look clean and pretty without a color. Fear or Desire is not a color I'd usually go for but I love it being so bright and pretty. Status Symbol is just a really lovely pink. I love my pink polishes so this was a must-lust-have. Bikini so Teeny is a gorgeous sky blue color. It has a really subtle shimmer in it and just looks so nice on. Essie are such good quality, I might just buy from them from now on.
I've had OPI Nail Envy in a favorite before and It's going to be a favorite forever I think. This is my second bottle and without it, my nails would be terrible. They've always been really weak and broke easily, but ever since using this, they grow a lot quicker and hardly ever break. I will definitely keep on buying this.
OPI Rapid Dry Top Coat in my eyes was a must have. I love to paint my nails but I didn't have a good top coat. I was using the nail envy as a top coat and I didn't want to waste it so I decided to try this one. All I can say is, incredible! It's the best top coat I've tried. When I want to do a different colour, I have to scrub for ages to get it off so it's so good!
August Favourites 2012 This one probably isn't a shocker. I'm obsessed with Taylor Swift and I couldn't wait for this perfume to come out. I think I got Wonderstruck the day it was released in the UK. I did a full review on it HERE but basically it's a lovely sweet girly scent that can be worn any time of day. I've been wearing it nearly every day and as you can see from the picture, I've used a fair bit and I got the 100ml bottle. I also love the bottle, it's so cute.
August Favourites 2012 Now onto my random favourites. The first is my favorite singer of the month. This has to be Madilyn Bailey. She's another great YouTuber and her voice is incredible. She's only 20 years old and she sounds amazing. I love her cover versions of songs, better than the originals. Check her channel out HERE and give We are young a listen.
August Favourites 2012 Favourite song of the month is obviously Taylor Swift - We are never ever getting back together. It's such a chirpy song that gets stuck in your head. I've listened to it none-stop since I first heard it a couple of weeks ago. I love it! Every song of hers is brilliant and the lyrics are so good.
August Favourites 2012 It was a toss between Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model  and Project Runway but I chose this one. It's really good. I watch the British and American version every cycle. The American one has only just started again but the Brit's are about halfway. I want either Lisa to win, her stunning cheek bones and pixie features or Roxy with her fierce hair and stunning face. I can't decide!! Who do you want to win??
Hope you've enjoyed these favourites, until next time! :)
