I recently had the pleasure of trying out some products from the brand Au Naturale, after they reached out to me. Au Naturale makes cruelty-free, clean, vegan cosmetics. I have heard nothing but good things about them and was excited to be able to try some things out. When I first went cruelty-free I was really interested in more cleanly formulation makeup but quickly realized that those brands weren’t particularly interested in making products for my skin tone so I lost interest and hadn’t keep looking for anything. Years later I’m happy to see the range of base colors offered my Au Naturale. Because I enjoyed their products so much, I’ve also join their affiliate program, which means I make a commission off all sales that come from the links below.

Au Naturale Swatches: Kapua, Mumbai, Cali, Palermo, Caramel Bronzer, Rose Glow

Au Naturale Crème Starter Kit

I picked out their crème starter kits in Tan which includes:

Zero Gravity C2P Foundation in Kapua, Mumbai, and Cali

I was really impressed with the foundation coverage, I would rank it at a solid medium coverage at maximum coverage. Really perfect for everyday/casual wear by my standards. I still have a decent amount hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and I was really happy on how this foundation blurred and covered them. My skin still looked like skin, just more even and healthy. Even though this is a crème foundation there was not a lot of shine present on the skin and it wore well for hours even in areas that I didn’t apply powder to set. I used the shade Mumbai.

Anywhere Creme Multistick in Palermo

I’ve seen Rhian from WIfeLife on youtube speak positively about this product in particular, it comes in the Tan crème starter kit but from her review I was pretty confident that I would like it so I picked it out in the full-size stick as well. It gives such a beautiful peach-orange flush to the skin. I love how radient it looks on the skin without being shiny, sometimes I find luminous blushes to be more highlighter than blush which can get very annoying. I also used this on my lips and it made my lips look so juicy without any gloss.

Luminous Crème Bronzer in Caramel

The shade of the bronzer is really nice and of course goes well the fresh natural look you can achieve with Au Naturale, blends out just as smooth as the foundation.

One thing to note about all the creme products is that I found they all blended out with a brush far better than me trying to use my beauty sponge.

Rose Glow is one of there lipsticks and a sample size was in the box with all the other products I picked up.

The All-Glowing Creme Highlighter in The OG

Buy: http://shrsl.com/tlyu

This highlight was more dramatic than I would have guessed it could be from a natural brand but it really makes your skin pop. It’s a bright yellow gold shimmer. I swatched it heavy but you can see it in my full-face look, I applied it heavy in the inner corner but softer on my nose and chin so it’s quite easy for you to control the drama. I love that versatility.
