Asus, the Taiwanese manufacturer has launched its latest Zenfone Zoom for photography buffs in India for Rs 37,999.This phone was initially showcased at CES last year and was promised to be available in Q2 2015. The smartphone was once again showcased at IFA 2015, but without any concrete information about pricing or availability.
The Zenfone Zoom has a 5.5 inch full HD (1080*1920) screen protected by corning gorilla glass 4. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3580 2.3 Ghz Quad core processor and PowerVR c6340 GPU. On storage front the device will have different storage capacity according to the model varying from 32GB to 128 GB but will have a massive 4GB ram which is becoming a norm with the flagship devices nowadays, as the LeEco LeMax.
The phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Hoya lens with f/2.7 to f/4.8-aperture, 10-element lenses with 3X optical zoom, OIS (optical image stabilization), laser auto-focus and dual-color Real Tone flash. Along with that it has a 5 Megapixel front camera for selfie.

The handset comes with faux leather rear back panel. On connectivity front this phone has dual sim with 4G connectivity and GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. The new ASUS ZenFone Zoom ZX550 is a 5.5-inch Full HD display smartphone loaded with the latest Android Lollipop v5.0 OS. The handset packs 3000mAh battery. It includes sensors such as accelerometer, proximity, ambient-light, gyroscopic, and digital compass. The ZenFone Zoom will be available in Glacier White and Meteorite Black colours and will sold exclusively through Flipkart.
