App Review - Tunnel Bear VPN

Posted on the 24 March 2013 by Andrew Monks @mramonks
One of the first posts I wrote was on using How to watch US Netflix on UK Nexus Devices. Since then I have been pointed towards other ways to go about it. This my favorite, it does the same job just in a simpler more visually pleasing way. The app in question is TunnelBear VPN.  Basically what a VPN does is provide you with a temporary new IP address, which makes the blocked service think you are living in a country where it's allowed to view the content you are trying to access. App Review - Tunnel Bear VPN
So what does that mean to me? well, it means at the flick of switch I can fool my device into thinking its in the US, Canada or home in the UK. Which means if your in the US then you can watch BBC iplayer, and if your in the UK then you can watch US Netflix.Once signed up you have a complementary 500mb to use but that will disappear quickly. You can pay for unlimited use in various lengths of time and for different devices.

The best deal I think is the $4.99 for 1 computer and two mobile devices and can be cancelled at anytime. I found that the app worked instantly and perfectly every time. It's well worth trying out as an alternative to my first post.
