Amazon’s Innovative “Fire Phone” Features Head-Tracking, 3D UI & More

On the inside, the Amazon Fire phone includes a 4.7-inch HD display and gets powered by Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.2 GHz processor, FireOS 3.5, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera. The device will head out in two storage options, 32GB for $199 and 64GB for $299 with an AT&T contract. The unlocked version will cost $649 and $749, respectively.

All these specs and prices make this phone look like any other phone in the market. So, what’s so special about Fire? Well, for starters, the Fire phone is the world’s first to feature Dynamic Perspective technology, which basically respond to the way you hold, view, and move the device with those sensors on the corners of the Fire phone. There’s also an innovative “Firefly” button that lets you use the camera viewfinder to quickly recognize email addresses, phone numbers, QR codes and do much more.

In addition, the Fire phone is the first smartphone to feature Mayday, ASAP, X-Ray, and Second Screen services. Amazon also offers 12 months of PRIME usage and unlimited photo storage on Amazon Cloud Drive for free.

Amazon Fire phone is now available for pre-order and it will start shipping on July 25th.
